Fair for Life Fair for Life is a rather new certification program in the Fair Trade world. It is supported by many Fair Trade organisations that got tired of the Fair Trade washing in FLO's member organisations. One of them is Equal Exchange. Fair for Life seems to be the most serious Fair Trade certification program so far. Here is how they introduce themselves: "Fair for life" is a brand neutral third party certification program for social accountability and fair trade in agricultural, manufacturing and trading operations. The program complements existing fair trade certification systems. |

Fair Trade Canada Fair Trade Canada (formerly known as TransFair Canada) is a Canadian Fair Trade certification organization and the only Canadian member of the Fair Trade International (FLO). Fair Trade Canada is responsible for certifying that Canadian products bearing the Fair Trade certification marks meet international Fair Trade standards. While the entire certification system monitors supply chains from the producers until the final point of packaging, we are responsible for monitoring and auditing products once they enter Canada, to ensure what is sold as Fair Trade certified actually is. |
