1	CIAP The Inter-Regional Centre of Artisans of Peru, CIAP, is a non-profit association, comprised of handcraft producing associations and groups originating different regions of the country. CIAP was created with the purpose of catalyzing the commercialisation of handicrafts produced by their members, along with the objectives of improving living conditions of artisans and supporting the development of their communities.	498
2	Latin American and Caribbean Network of Small Fair Trade Producers (CLAC) CLAC, is a regional network with its roots in the Latin American Network of Small Coffee Producers (CLA, according to its initials in Spanish) and in the Latin American Network of Beekeepers, PAUAL according to its initials in Spanish, both of which were founded in the year 1996. During the fifth Regional CLA Assembly, celebrated in August, 2004, in Oaxaca, Mexico, CLAC became legally registered, incorporating representatives of small Free Trade producers in Latin America and the Caribbean and of an ample variety of products.	30
3	MINKA Fair Trade MINKA Fair Trade has been working to combat poverty in Peru for over three decades. Founded in 1976, MINKA was the first Peruvian organization to engage in Fair Trade and has been an active member of the International Fair Trade Association since its creation in 1991. Presently, over 3,000 democratically organized producers are working with MINKA to facilitate sustainable development practices in marginalized areas of Peru. MINKA is Quechua for "Co-operative", which reflects a system of values that champion’s education and capacity building by defending quality, responsibility, opportunity, fulfilment, responsibility, perseverance, creativity, solidarity and reciprocity.	279
